Description POSITION OVERVIEW: The Welder Auditor/Tester will perform the welder testing and evaluation for potential employee candidates. This position will also perform audits of TAS's welding operations to monitor compliance with TAS's welding procedures and practices. The welding Auditor will also assist in maintaining applicable quality logs/sheets. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: •Administer and monitor welding tests to determine eligibility of potential candidates. Visual inspection Dimensional inspection Guided bend testing •Coordinate subcontracted non-destructive testing methods such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, and magnetic particle testing with Welding Coordinator as required in support of welder testing. •Conduct daily weld audits to ensure compliance with TAS Welding Procedure requirements, using relevant testing practices.
