A native of Blount County and graduate of Oneonta High School, Neal Brooks began working in public safety as a volunteer in Blount County with the Allgood Fire Department in 1994. While in school at Wallace State in Hanceville, Neal worked as a dispatcher at Hanceville Police Department and then Blount County 911. Following paramedic certification completion, Neal worked as a paramedic for Blount EMS full-time for eleven years. In November of 2011, he accepted the position of Communications Supervisor at Blount County 911. Neal is a NENA certified Communications Center Manager (CMCP) and has also achieved the designation of Emergency Number Professional (ENP). As a graduate of Cleveland High School, Rachel Morrison attended Wallace State Community College in 2009 and received her Associates of Science in Drafting and Design Technology. After being named to the ALl-Alabma Academic Team in 2012, she received a scholarship to Troy University. There, she worked with the Forest Service and the Troy University Archaeology Department utilizing GIS. She received her Bachelors of Science in Surveying and Geomatics in 2014. Rachel accepted the position of GIS Technician at Blount County 911 in December of 2014.
