The City of Littleton has an opening for a Fleet Manager to join the Public Works Department. The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing Fleet Division operations. This position determines fleet requirements, manages vehicle and equipment purchasing and contracts, prepares and monitors the Fleet Division operating budget, and provides overall direction and leadership for the Fleet team. This position will have the opportunity to continue and lead work on electrification of fleet vehicles to reduce the citys carbon footprint. Background on bringing Electric Vehicles (EV) online and knowledge on heavy duty EV Class 6 & 8 requirements is preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation. Communicate with Office Lead/Program Manager and ensure the proper flow of office procedures. Helps maintain the professional appearance of the office and is the primary contact for the office vendors. Primary point of contact for incoming phone calls or visitors. Manage office supply needs and orders. Assist in travel authorizations and arrangements for office and field employees. Distribute HR materials to staff and assist with on-boarding/off-boarding as needed. Helps to process weekly timesheets checking for accuracy and approvals. Acts as a liaison between payroll and our field employees. Assist with processing monthly/weekly expense reports and pulling reports as needed for management.
