Bubba was born and raised in Elberton, Georgia and he wanted to build a new "state-of-the-art" BUBBA burger® plant in his hometown where he could always keep his eye on the BUBBA burger®. In November 2000, a new company was formed called Bubba Foods, LLC to take over all aspects of the BUBBA burger®. This included the production, sales and marketing of the BUBBA burger® with Bubba as the Founder Emeritus, Billy Morris as President and CEO and Steve Coon as COO. In November 2009, BUBBA burger broke ground on an expansion to double the size of the Georgia plant, which is now complete. In March 2010 Bubba Foods, LLC announced the acquisition and renovation of a processing facility in Hastings, Nebraska. This location will help BUBBA burger to meet the demand for our products.
