Burritt on the Mountain is offering several unique camp programs created to immerse your child in the wonders of nature and human culture. Each camp centers upon hands-on learning activities specially designed to explore environmental, historical, and cultural issues. Through games and activities, your "camper" will gain an understanding of man's relationship to our planet. Most camps include hikes on Burritt's 167 acres where your child will be guided through self-discovery opportunities and activities to develop an appreciation for our precious planet. Because camp capacities are limited, an early reply is recommended in order to insure your choice of camp dates. Please keep in mind that the camps for older children will be intensive outdoor experiences. They are not recommended for children who are overly sensitive to heat, humidity, poison ivy, or insect stings and bites. When we receive your registration form , a list of items that your "camper" must bring each day will be sent to you and must be returned prior to the start of the camp your child will be attending. The camps are described below and include required age levels, fees, dates, and times. The registration fee also includes a camp T-shirt. To register, simply complete the Registration Form and return it along with the registration fee to Burritt on the Mountain at the address indicated.
