Canby Drywall, Inc. is a local company founded by Steve and Lois Gustafson in 1990. In 1972 Steve had started residential drywall nailing quite by accident, excelled at it, and loved it. But after 18 years of gaining knowledge and experience and putting down roots in the drywall industry, his entrepreneurial spirit took over! Backed by the encouragement and accounting skills of his wife, Lois, he put feet to the idea of owning his own company, and in July of 1990 CANBY DRYWALL, INC. was born. With the intrinsic values of honesty, perseverance, hard work, and putting the customer first, the company has grown from a 2 person home office operation to the successful business it is today. Still based in our hometown of Canby, our trucks may be seen at jobs most anywhere in Oregon and Southwest Washington. But just because we have grown does not mean we have lost the personal touch! Steve still owns and operates the company full time and chances are it just might be "the boss himself" that will give you a bid, check your job or solve a problem for you. Our aim has always been to offer a great product at a great price, make happy customers, and to let our reputation be our advertising. We are thankful for the fine employees, suppliers, customers and friends along the way who have helped us reach this goal. We love drywall and the integral part it plays in the construction industry! We are proud to be able to support ourselves, provide employment to Oregon families, and to leave a lasting legacy by our investment in some of the most beautiful homes and communities in the Pacific Northwest.
