Job Description Job Description CLASS TITLE: BUS DRIVER TYPE I BASIC FUNCTIONS: Under the direction of the Transportation Manager, operate a Type I school bus over designated routes in accordance with time schedules, picking up and discharging students; provide safe and efficient transportation for District students to and from school, special events and field trips; perform daily inspections and maintenance of vehicle; assist in the loading and unloading of physically and mentally handicapped students as necessary. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: Drive a Type I school bus over designated routes in accordance with specified time schedules and in accordance with regulations and laws related to pupil transportation in California following specified schedules; transport students to and from school, special events and field trips. Pick up and discharge students at established bus stops; stop traffic and escort students across streets and roadways as needed to assure student safety; report incidents

DEFINITION: Under general supervision, to operate a school bus over designated routes to transport students; to assist general servicing and cleaning of school buses; and to do related work as required. Bus drivers operate school buses over designated routes to transport students on a time schedule and are required to maintain order among the students riding the buses. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: Drive a school bus daily; or as assigned; over designated routes. Picks up and discharges school children in accordane with time schedules and with due regard for safety. Job Description Job Description First Class Charter Inc is a family owned business located in Hayward, California. Since 2011, we are serving Northern California's casino on a daily bases. Our shuttle services are morning, Noon, afternoon and evening schedules. Due to COVID-19 most of the casinos stopped their bus program and currently, we are serving only Graton Hotel and casino in Rohnert Park, California. We also occasionally have charters that we book all around California ranging from smaller events like (49er games & airport transfers) to large scale events like Music festivals, weddings, and national parks. For our casino shuttle service our routes are fixed and all pickup and drop off locations are the same every day, making it very easy to learn and understand the routes (90% of drivers only require 1 day of training/orientation).
