Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy/Staff Pharmacist, following established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, the Pharmacy Technician performs a variety of pharmacy related functions including filling routine orders for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals and I.V. admixtures. This is a per diem position. Required Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent required. MA Pharmacy Technician registration required, certification preferred. Experience with automated dispensing (Pyxis) and MediTech Information System desirable. Prior retail pharmacy preferred with some prior experience in hospital.
