Description: The City of Williamston, located in northeast Ingham County, is seeking a professional City Manager to serve as chief administrative officer. Requires minimum 5 years of experience in municipal operations and 3 years of supervisory experience as manager/assistant manager or department head. Plans, organizes, and directs all municipal operations, budget and finance, economic development, planning/zoning, project management, infrastructure planning, capital improvements, evaluation and improvement of services, labor negotiations, boards and committees including DDA and TIFA, intergovernmental and community relations. The City operates under a Council/Manager form of government. The City has 23 full-time and 3 part-time employees along with contracted service providers. The public restroom at McCormick Park is open to the public. Following guidelines from the Center for Disease Control, users of the public restrooms are encouraged to practice social distance by maintaining six feet between individuals in all areas of the park, including the public restrooms. Users are also encouraged to wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Restrooms are checked for supplies and cleanliness each morning by City staff.
