Advancing Educational Justice for Refugee and Immigrant Youth School Bus Driver Position Description Schedule: Year-round, Monday-Friday with both an AM route and PM extended day drop off; field trips as necessary. Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, our bus drivers are non-exempt, full-time employees, typically working from August through May with the potential to extend through the summer months based on summer school needs. AM route times and a late afternoon/early evening, extended day drop off. The bus driver operates a bus and transports passengers safely and efficiently to their destination. Responsibilities and Duties Safely operate the bus, ensuring the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other road users; includes following traffic laws, maintaining control of the vehicle, and being aware of potential hazards on the road Pick up passengers at designated stops or locations and transport them to their destinations; ensure that passengers board and exit the bus safely
