The Senior Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research and providing quality legal representation. We are Seeking an experienced associate or of counsel attorney with an LL.M. in tax to join its thriving Trusts and Estates/Family Office/Tax practice. The candidate must have more than five years of relevant experience in estate planning. The position should involve participation in building the existing practice, significant client contact and moving into a leadership role in the long term. Academically distinguished applicants who have excellent writing and analytical skills are sought to assume responsibility in this very active practice.

This is a fully remote role outside of court appearances. You must live in the state of Mississippi and be admitted to the bar in Mississippi. **there are no billable hours and this is a strictly 40 hour per week role** This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to a range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters. You will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contacts, setting claims and advocating for clients in court. Responsibilities: Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of the firm's clients in MS Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc. Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims Legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law Qualification
