Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong CAD expertise to support the design and development of robotic test stations. This will be focused on creating detailed CAD models of test stations and integrating key sensing components. This is slated as a short-term contract of 3-4 weeks in the Mission District of San Francisco. Key Responsibilities: Develop accurate CAD models of test stations. Design and place key new sensors within the CAD environment, ensuring optimal positioning based on field-of-view (FOV) analysis. Create and analyze FOV cones to determine sensor coverage and blind spots. Collaborate with the team to identify the appropriate sensing components required. Assist in sourcing and ordering necessary brackets and mounting hardware. Design custom brackets and fixtures as needed to securely attach sensors. Support the physical assembly and installation of sensors and brackets in the test stations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engine
