As chief, I have the opportunity to serve in a great community with some of the finest men and women in the world. Over the years, the responsibilities of the fire department have grown from just "fighting fires." In todays fire service we deliver a wider range of services than was ever imagined when many of us first entered the fire service. Our continuing goal at the City of Dickson Fire Department is to ensure that when someone picks up the phone and dials 911, they know that they will receive a quick response from well trained and dedicated firefighters. We operate out of two stations with 39 full time shift firefighters as well as, 5 administrative personnel. We provide services in 5 different divisions; Administrative, Suppression, Training, Inspections/Investigations and Public Education. We currently hold an ISO rating of three (3). The men and women serving the City of Dickson Fire Department do so with courage, dedication, and professionalism. I believe that your fire department is prepared to meet any challenges the future may bring. These are just a few of the reasons that I am honored and proud to be the chief of the City of Dickson Fire Department.
