Job Description Job Description The Medical Assistant is a critical member of the care team and is responsible for assisting nursing and medical provider/staff with a prescribed set of duties in the provision of patient care, including but not limited to monitoring and documenting changes in patient symptoms, checking vital signs, accompanying nursing and other clinical staff on patient wellness checks, gathering medical histories, and assisting with monitoring emergency equipment and supply inventory.
