Accounts Payable Salary at Ers Inc BETA

Vaco is assisting a client in the Huntsville area hire an AP Clerk for 6 months. They are in the process of a system conversion and need additional help. The Clerk will be using Concur and responsible for basic data entry and processing of payments. Once trained and acclimated, the position is remote 2 days a week.

1. Finance & Accounting Responsibilities 2.1 Perform the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that municipal finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner. 2.2 Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services 2.3 Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures 2.4 Prepare batches of invoices for data entry 2.5 Data enter invoices for payment 2.6 Process backup reports after data
