The Family Farm is a small scale organic farm located north of Twisp, Washington. We are growing a market garden of 3 acres and a 30'x100' greenhouse. We have an acre of blueberries and a handful of other berries and fruit trees. Some of the produce is used by our family and neighbors. Additionally we offer on-site u-pick & u-dig farm sales, as well as providing fresh fruits & vegetables to nearby restaurants, stores, local families, and at the Twisp Farmer's Market. We share the farm with a wide variety of wildlife and domesticated animals. A mixture of livestock animals on the farm help feed the soil for the garden. Rogart, the Highland Pony, and Dasher, the donkey, help us cultivate and harvest the crops. We also use a 1951 Fergusen tractor and a 1962 International tractor for field work. A few acres of hay from one of the fields are cut and fed to the animals during the winter. We look forward to the fun and challenges that each year brings.

  1. Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting is a form of problem solving, often applied to repair failed products or processes on a machine or a system. It is a logical, systematic search for the source of a problem in order to solve it, and make the product or process operational again. Troubleshooting is needed to identify the symptoms. Determining the most likely cause is a process of elimination—eliminating potential causes of a problem. Finally, troubleshooting requires confirmation that the solution restores the product or process to its working state. In general, troubleshooting is the identification or diagnosis of "trouble" in the management flow of a system caused by a failure of some kind. The problem is initially described as symptoms of malfunction, and troubleshooting is the process of determining and remedying the causes of these symptoms. A system can be described in terms of its expected, desired or intended behavior (usually, for artificial systems, its purpose). Events or inputs to the system are expected to generate specific results or outputs. (For example, selecting the "print" option from various computer applications is intended to result in a hardcopy emerging from some specific device). Any unexpected or undesirable behavior is a symptom. Troubleshooting is the process of isolating the specific cause or causes of the symptom. Corrective action can then be taken to prevent further failures of a similar kind.

The end use may be drinking, industrial water supply, irrigation, river flow maintenance, water recreation or many other uses, including being safely returned to the environment. This treatment is crucial to human health and allows humans to benefit from both drinking and irrigation use.
