I accepted Christ as a child after hearing Billy Graham speak. Then we moved to Indiana when I was a teenager. Without the support of the Christian friends and church I had in Oregon I struggled to live out my faith. During my freshman year of college at Taylor University I turned over full control of my life to God. He began to change me-He gave me a thirst for His Word and a passion to serve Him that has not gone away. How I came to Gospel City Church Our family was deeply involved with an inner city church for 15 years prior to coming to Harvest. God showed both my husband and I that our time with that body of believers was over. We ended well and began our search for a new church. We had friends who were new members at Gospel City who invited us to visit. From the beginning we were drawn to the Gospel centered preaching and unashamed worship of Christ and have not looked back since. What I do at Gospel City Church I have the privilege of leading the children's ministry at Gospel City. I recruit, train, and support our volunteer staff of workers. Why I do what I do We have a short time to live on this earth and it is my desire to make an impact while I am here. I love children and getting the chance to effectively share the Gospel with them on a weekly basis is a privilege that I don't take for granted. Phil. 1:27
