The History Center of Traverse City is dedicated to the preservation, protection, and presentation of the historical record of Traverse City and the Grand Traverse Region. The History Center of Traverse City will collaborate with and support other historically focused groups and organizations, exhibit the Con Foster collection of historic artifacts, present educational programs and events, and manage and maintain the Carnegie Library Building for its own use and for use by other organizations and the community.
