Since it first opened in 1957, Camp Hanover has provided a place apart for the children, youth, and adults of the Presbytery of the James (and its predecessor, Hanover Presbytery). It has offered a summer camp experience to young people and hosted retreats, conferences, and meetings for the congregations of Central Virginia, and other local organizations.
