The Lot Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining a professional and inviting dealership atmosphere. You'll be responsible for ensuring the organization, cleanliness, and security of the dealership's vehicle inventory. This includes parking, moving, and showcasing vehicles, while providing support to sales and service departments. Responsibilities: Vehicle Management: Park and organize incoming vehicles in designated areas, maximizing lot space utilization. Assist with vehicle movement between the lot, service department, and test drives. Conduct visual inspections of incoming and outgoing vehicles, noting any existing damage. Keep track of vehicle location and ensure all vehicles are properly accounted for. Maintain a clean and presentable appearance of vehicles which includes removing debris or elemental causations. The Lot Porter performs regular maintenance (non-mechanical services), moves vehicles, and performs other duties assigned by the manager, all completed in a safe and timely manner. The Lot Porter assists both the Sales and Service Departments in maintaining the new and used car lots, and in transporting vehicles to appropriate departments for service and inventory control. •Parks vehicles in accordance with policy and under direction of Sales to ensure that the lot is attractive to potential buyers. •Clean and maintain entire lot for new, used and service departments. •Assist Sales and Service Staff in moving vehicles to ensure efficient dealership opera tions. •Ensures cleanliness of all vehicles. •Responsible for adding and maintaining key tags and window stickers on all lot vehicles. •Drives vehicles to other dealerships for 'dealer swaps' or to other vendors as requested. •May pick-up or deliver customers as requested using dealership vehicles.
