As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating comprehensive construction estimates for transportation projects across our regions. You will engage with a variety of conventional and alternative contracting methods on projects ranging from straightforward highway rehabilitation to some of the region's most complex mega-projects. Our transportation projects encompass roadway, bridge, and retaining wall constructions, as well as underground systems including drainage, waterline, and sanitary installations. Estimating Responsibilities Review proposals, specifications, and drawings; attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to determine scope and estimate requirements. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, determine cost-effective construction methods, and complete full cost estimates.
