Job Description Job Description Background SPS designs and manufactures high efficiency process equipment, primarily for the oil and gas industry. This process equipment combines the mechanical design requirements of the ASME Code with proprietary internal components sized and configured to meet the requirements of each customer’s individual application. SPS’ applications department is responsible for selecting, designing, sizing, and quoting process equipment; this includes producing informational datasheets and commercial proposals for customer requests. In addition, the applications department is responsible for the development of design standards, guidelines, and tools to assist engineers. SPS currently has an opening for an Application Engineer. The successful candidate will work within the Sales/Applications department in the areas of sizing/quoting separators, instrumentation, retrofits, service testing and skids for customer’s applications and inquiries.
