Location: Fort Payne, Alabama Job Summary: Distribution Center Operations Manager is responsible for managing, controlling, and monitoring processes and work flows at the company's distribution site through Operations Supervisors. He/she manages and trains staff engaged in receiving, stocking, processing or shipping; prepares reports, summaries, and analyses on operations and communicates with appropriate management. Responsibilities: Key Accountabilities: Manage and plan for the physical receipt, processing, storage and shipment of delivered materials into and out of the distribution center; Prepare staffing plans during peak and off peak times to maintain consistent work flow for all associates in a productive manner; Motivate Supervisors to ensure that predetermined productivity, cost, and quality standards are achieved or exceeded; Ensure good housekeeping and safe working conditions in the facility; Recommend new or improved methods, techniques and procedures for processing invent

Primary Accountabilities: Primary accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following: Plan and lead the activities of production processes and personnel on various shifts during the manufacturing/assembly of products. Partner with the Production Manager, Production Planning, and Materials departments to establish production priorities and plans. Direct production operations in accordance with established priorities and sequences for manufacturing products using knowledge of production processes and methods, machine and equipment capabilities and skilled labor. Analyze production schedules to estimate work requirements for completion of job assignments and adjust to meet scheduled requirements.
