POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY: The Nursing Assistant participates in prepatory aspects of care including transfers, transporting patients between the department and their hospital room or to diagnostic areas. The Nursing Assistant assists the department in the location, organization and cleaning of equipment and maintaining the department in a clean, safe and orderly state. The Nursing Assistant participates in the transport of specimens and records to appropriate departments.
