The Optician assists clients with selecting frames. They also measure customers for size of eyeglasses and coordinate frames with facial and eye measurements and optical prescription. The Optician prepares work for grinding and mounting lenses in frames. They also must verify exactness of finished lens spectacles, adjust frames and lens position to fit client and they may shape or reshape frames upon dispensing.
