JOB SUMMARY The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for providing general maintenance and repairs, parking control and general access to building locations as required. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Prioritizes, schedules and coordinates building facilities requests through Facilities Fresh Service system, providing updates if request is not addressed immediately. Coordinates distribution return, safekeeping of keys, parking clickers to staff and tenants as assigned. Assigns parking spaces to staff and tenants as required. Makes rounds of agency properties, checking equipment, logging temperatures, pressure and other readings. Performs semi-skilled maintenance, repair and remodeling tasks under specific directions in the areas of plumbing, landscaping, carpentry, painting and electrical for agency locations and vehicles.
