The daily rates* for degreed substitutes are $90.00 short-term / $197.25 long-term. For non-degreed substitutes, the daily rates* are $85.00 short-term / $100.00 long-term. Requirements All substitutes are required to have a Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) issued substitute teaching certificate. If you do not already have this certificate, we will help guide you through the process. A Substitute Certificate requires 36 semester hours of credit from a regionally accredited college or university. Prevention Initiative Home- Based Teacher This position is a full time position and is based at the Vienna Early Learning Center in Vienna, Illinois.
