Mr. Glas obtained his degree in Law at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and his Masters in Comparative Law from the University of Miami School of Law. Mr. Pulenta obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Buenos Aires and a Masters of Business Administration at the IESE School of Business in Barcelona. Beginning with the acquisition of the Dadeland Executive Center in south Miami-Dade county, the group subsequently bought the Datran I and II office complexs featuring over 200,000 square feet of space in each. The group entered the hospitality market with the acquisition of the Miami Marriott Dadeland in 1990. Subsequently the group developed the Courtyard by Marriott Dadeland in 2004 as part of this innovative complex. These transactions stimulated a transformation of the neighborhood they were located in to a vibrant business, retail and hospitality center. Similarly, the groups development of the JW Marriott Hotel Miami and Barclays Financial Center in 1998 was the stimulus for a record setting decade of development in the Miami downtown Brickell Corridor. Most recently, MDM has been a market leader in the development of the downtown Miami central business district with the unprecedented $1B mixed use project, Metropolitan Miami. Beginning with the opening of the Met 1 condominium project in 2008, development has been completed on the Met 2 - JW Marriott Marquis Miami and Wells Fargo Office Center in 2010 and the Whole Foods Market as part of Met 3 in 2015. The final phase of Metropolitan Miami, Met Square, is nearing completion. This multi-use complex recently opened the Silverspot Cinema with a 17 screen luxury high end movie theatre experience.
