Meridian Golf Club was founded in 1984. Generally, the Club is composed of people who are serious about their golf and enjoy the challenge of a Jack Nicklaus Championship course. Members appreciate and enjoy the fact that good tee times are readily available since the Club has put a limit on the maximum number of members it will accept. The operation of Meridian Golf Club is designed to create a superior golfing experience for members and their guests. The golf course offers challenging play for golfers of all types, skill levels and handicaps. We offer five challenging tee placements with a course rating that ranges from 71.2 for women to 74.5 from the men's championship gold tees, and a slope that varies from 127 for women to 145 for the men's gold tees. Our club also offers extensive practice facilities, which include two putting greens, two chipping greens, four practice sand bunkers and a separate area just for work on your pitch shots. An additional special feature of Meridian are the unique three regulation practice holes. If you want to work on "real time" play or just don't have enough time to get in a full round of golf, the practice holes are a wonderful benefit to help improve your game. A full service golf shop, grille and patio, men's and ladies' locker rooms, and a private meeting and banquet facility are available to the membership. In addition, the Club has an indoor practice facility and a separate lesson tee. The Club also has five individual teaching professionals contracted to teach at Meridian, plus the Club's own full-time teaching staff, so professional lesson help is always available.
