Milwaukee Alarm Company Inc (MAC) was founded in 1977 by James W. Haas. Mr. Haas began MAC as a way to help Wisconsin residents and businesses rest assured that their homes and businesses were secure from theft, burglary and fire. Mr. Haas created MAC's Local Alarm Monitoring Facility in downtown Milwaukee to provide the best possible service to MAC customers in 1980. Our employees are available 24/7/365 from our facility in downtown Milwaukee. In 1988, MAC was recognized by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. which acknowledges companies that provide safe, reliable products, and services. MAC continues to retain the support of this nationally acclaimed testing organization. During the period between 1989 and 2001 MAC acquired 10 security alarm companies throughout the state of Wisconsin. In 2008 Joseph A. Haas took over as CEO for MAC. In 2008 MAC added providing NICET 4 fire alarm system design in accordance to state and local codes. MAC is able to design a fire alarm system and submit it to the state of Wisconsin and local fire department for approval. In 2009 MAC created its Life Safety Division which performs inspections of: Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Evacuation Systems, Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Suppression Systems, and Sprinkler Systems. In 2013 MAC purchased Eyesthere Alarm monitoring division. The security team at MAC is proud to offer high-quality services at affordable rates.
