General Purpose: Supervises and manages all public improvement projects within the City and verifies they are designed, constructed, and maintained to current City, State, and Federal codes and standards. Supports Engineering Division staff in the design and review of all proposed public improvements and private development. Hires, trains, and provides leadership and direction to Engineering staff while facilitating collaboration with other City divisions and departments. Minimum Education and Certification: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in Civil Engineering or a related field.
