Mochi Magazine is an online magazine dedicated to empowering young Asian American women. When Mochi first began, we had an idea for a publication that would address all the things that would have made Asian American a little easier to understand. Its an identity apart from the terms Asian and American, the space between the two words that we struggle with. A project that began as a conversation between three girls has turned into a vibrant community - a collection of perspectives, backgrounds and personalities - hailing from colleges, high schools, and careers nationwide and even abroad. In witnessing the growth of Mochi, we have learned a lot about our community, and consequently, ourselves. And as Mochi continues to grow and reach out, we hope to keep learning.

Also, the word "publisher" can refer both to an individual who leads a publishing company or an imprint and to an individual who owns/heads a magazine. Traditionally, the term refers to the distribution of printed works, such as books (the "book trade") and newspapers. With the advent of digital information systems and the Internet, the scope of publishing has expanded to include electronic resources such as the electronic versions of books and periodicals, as well as micropublishing, websites, blogs, video game publishers, and the like. Publishing includes the following stages of development: acquisition, copy editing, production, printing (and its electronic equivalents), marketing, and distribution.

Project management has final deliverables that are constrained to a finite timescale and budget.
  4. Initiative: Taking decisive action and initiating plans independently to address problems, improve professional life, and achieve goals.
  5. Presentation: Presentation conveys information from a speaker to an audience. Presentations are typically demonstrations, introduction, lecture, or speech meant to inform, persuade, inspire, motivate, build goodwill, or present a new idea/product.
