The Montrose Center offers individual, couples/family and group counseling for those whose lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS. Services are provided by licensed master's level therapists who have experience, sensitivity and current knowledge regarding HIV/AIDS and related issues. Group therapy is recommended if you are living with HIV, as support from the group helps to alleviate commonly shared feelings and experiences. Members find they are not alone, and become a source hope and strength for one another. Counseling services are available to all HIV+ persons at the Center. Homebound or hospital-bound persons with AIDS may arrange for in-home private counseling sessions. How much does it cost? We work with what you have. The Center accepts all insurance, including Medicare/Medicaid. Discounted fees are offered if you have no insurance and/or limited means.
