Orchard View specializes in growing, harvesting and packing fresh cherries. Our President, Brenda Thomas, is the 4th generation of the family business based in The Dalles, Oregon USA. We manage approximately 2000 acres of fresh cherries using sustainable farming methods on growing sites in and adjacent to the Columbia River Gorge. We hand harvest blush and dark sweet cherries from mid June - mid August. We operate two packing lines, one that includes an optical sorter. To maintain shelf life, we use View Fresh®, a modified atmosphere system. We employ important seasonal staff during June, July and August. We look for quality people to help us promote fruit quality. ur premium fresh cherries are available for purchase at the farm from mid June through early August.
