Nature of Duties: The nature of the duties for the Cardiovascular Medical Assistant (CMA) is to assist the clinical staff and physicians by providing direct and indirect patient care in areas of patient mobility, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy, and pre and post procedure care by facilitating a positive patient experience. The CMA performs technical duties to assist the patients through provider visits, scheduled diagnostic testing, in office procedures, and assist clinical staff in maintenance of healthcare delivery standards.
