About the Position Must Have Forklift Experience Must have experience in warehouse inventory role. The Inventory Clerk maintains inventory levels and accuracy in a distribution center. This position is responsible for reporting, physical inventory, and system audits and for utilizing the inventory management system to prepare and track materials and products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs. Various sites may require additional support based on the nature of the business. This could include, but is not limited to, product holds/releases, recalls, and returns. The Accounting Clerk (AC) reports to the Accounting Supervisor (AS). The AC plays an important role in the monthly book to physical inventory reviews. Preparation of month-end close journal entries and preparation of ad-hoc reporting falls within the duties of the AC. The AC primarily assists in gathering documentation. The AC works with Management to ensure that the close processes are on track and implements continuous improvement of the accounting environment. In addition, the AC may be involved in ad hoc projects.
