Job Summary/Job Purpose: The Dispatcher I will effectively direct the daily operational activity of delivery personnel which includes scheduling deliveries, dispatching trucks and processing paperwork. Assists in establishing procedures to ensure efficient and timely deliveries and troubleshoot operational problems when they arise. Job Duties / Essential Functions: Assign orders promptly to the correct driver nearest to the designated delivery location. Assign orders for delivery and reroute any undeliverable orders.
