Job Description Job Description The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is responsible for performing patient-oriented procedures under the direction and supervision of a Medical Doctor to ensure safe and appropriate patient care. The MA assists the clinician with medical procedures (injections, casting/bracing, etc.); performs a broad spectrum of clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of patient care which may include, but not limited to, managing referrals, answering phones, scheduling patients, and inventory management. This small clinic is looking for a self-motivated, flexible team player, who is willing to assist the physician with patient care and also willing to help the front office with administrative duties when needed. The successful candidate will need to have a valid and active MA certification (certification will need to be provided before hiring).
