RAMCOA was founded in 1986, headquartered in Jersey City. There was a need to manufacture replacement bushings that were failing in Original Equipment applications. In an effort to surpass OE expectations, RAMCOA began specializing in a unique blend of material called Thermoplastic Rubber. Bushings were then manufactured using TPV which combines the best characteristics from both plastic and rubber. The strength from the plastic and the memory bank from the rubber (EPDM) make our product far superior than others in the industry. In 2006, RAMCOA was acquired as a privately-held company by Charlie Semah and Shlomo Kanarek and moved to its new larger facility located in Linden, New Jersey. RAMCOA continues to be the pioneer of quality suspension parts who has led the industry for over 27 years. Today, RAMCOA is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company that supplies more than 900 parts under eight key product categories to customers worldwide.

What Skills Does a person Need at Ramcoa?

At Ramcoa, specify the abilities and skills that a person needs in order to carry out the specified job duties. Each competency has five to ten behavioral assertions that can be observed, each with a corresponding performance level (from one to five) that is required for a particular job.

  1. Leadership: Knowledge of and ability to employ effective strategies that motivate and guide other members within our business to achieve optimum results.
  2. Continuous Improvement: A continual improvement process, also often called a continuous improvement process (abbreviated as CIP or CI), is an ongoing effort to improve products, services, or processes. These efforts can seek "incremental" improvement over time or "breakthrough" improvement all at once. Delivery (customer valued) processes are constantly evaluated and improved in the light of their efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility. Some see CIPs as a meta-process for most management systems (such as business process management, quality management, project management, and program management). W. Edwards Deming, a pioneer of the field, saw it as part of the 'system' whereby feedback from the process and customer were evaluated against organisational goals. The fact that it can be called a management process does not mean that it needs to be executed by 'management'; but rather merely that it makes decisions about the implementation of the delivery process and the design of the delivery process itself.
  3. Planning: An act or process of making or carrying out plans. Establishment of goals, policies, and procedures for a social or economic unit city planning business planning.
  4. Lean: Lean manufacturing, or lean production, is a system of techniques and activities for running a manufacturing or service operation.
  5. Initiative: Taking decisive action and initiating plans independently to address problems, improve professional life, and achieve goals.
