Job Overview The OP Infusion Pharmacy Technician has responsibility for assisting in all aspects of the drug distribution, billing and patient record keeping processes in the provision of Pharmaceutical Care in both the inpatient pharmacy as well as the outpatient infusion suite(s). Must staff an average of at least 40 hours per pay period in the infusion center pharmacy and Henderson inpatient pharmacy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides Drug Distribution. Compounds Intravenous Solutions, including hazardous medications. Understands and maintains compliance with USP 797 and 800 regulations. Performs Clerical Functions. Packages Medications in Unit Dose Packaging. Optimizes Utilization of Departmental Equipment. Maintains Departmental Systems and Records. Complies with Standards of Employee Conduct.
