PRIMARY FUNCTIONS The primary functions include ensuring that all processing requirements of the part have been met before preparing the parts for shipping through packaging and preparation of shipping documentation, receiving and delivering all incoming products and managing product to and from our outside processing suppliers QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the Major Responsibilities, including the following: Reviews the process router to ensure all previous processes have been completed. About the Position Must Have Forklift Experience Must have experience in warehouse inventory role. The Inventory Clerk maintains inventory levels and accuracy in a distribution center. This position is responsible for reporting, physical inventory, and system audits and for utilizing the inventory management system to prepare and track materials and products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs. The Accounting Clerk (AC) reports to the Accounting Supervisor (AS). The AC plays an important role in the monthly book to physical inventory reviews. Preparation of month-end close journal entries and preparation of ad-hoc reporting falls within the duties of the AC. The AC primarily assists in gathering documentation. The AC works with Management to ensure that the close processes are on track and implements continuous improvement of the accounting environment. In addition, the AC may be involved in ad hoc projects. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (such as a GED). 1-2 years accounting or relevant bookkeeping experience including responsibility for company general ledger and financial statements preferred.
