ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS •Make appropriate arrangements with the State Highway Patrol, over weight load division, Port of Entry, and utility companies for equipment being hauled. •Correctly fill out self-issuing permits and turn in copies of permits to Wyoming Machinery Payables Clerk. •Operate the truck and trailer correctly and safely, loading or unloading, obeying all traffic laws. •Provide some task training on the equipment being delivered. •Coordinate load with flag cars. •Inspect and maintain truck and trailer in good mechanical condition and report deficiencies for scheduled maintenance. •Load and unload all types of heavy equipment on to the transport truck and trailer. •Wash truck and trailer. •Keep current on all load restrictions on roads within state regulated by Wyoming Highway Department. •Assist in rigging load for crane operator. •Use forklift to off load or load equipment. •Maintain MSHA training for transporting equipment to mine sites. •Occasional on-call.
