GEICO is seeking an experienced Claims Counsel to join its in-house Enterprise Litigation and Investigations Division. The Claims Counsel will identify, develop, and maintain the Company's position on claims related litigation, bad faith claims, and extra-contractual matters. The Claims Counsel will be expected to provide legal services and advice regarding insurance claims of heightened complexity, complex extracontractual matters, bad faith, and other major litigation and manage large-scale projects. The position may involve other duties, as assigned. This role will partner closely with other business teams, while forming part of a collaborative legal department that is valued for its practical advice. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of relevant substantive experience in a law firm or in-house legal department and some experience managing or litigating bad faith or extra-contractual allegations.
