SWT Engineering (SWT) is a multi-disciplined, civil and environmental engineering firm founded in 2007 by Mr. Michael A. Cullinane, P.E., Mr. John R. Boucher, and Mr. Richard M. Genzel, P.E. The principals of SWT have a combined experience of approximately 70 years in the solid waste industry in the western United States. SWT is comprised of a diversified staff of professional and technical support personnel with specialized experience in solid waste engineering and planning. Over the past 20 plus years, SWT staff has performed projects at more than 150 landfill sites, primarily in California and Arizona, but also in Montana, New Mexico, and Hawaii. Sites have ranged from large regional metropolitan disposal sites and large volume transfer stations to small waste disposal facilities, burn sites, and small volume transfer stations in remote rural areas. SWT staff has prided themselves with innovative designs which have generated additional landfill capacity and associated revenue, while minimizing capital costs in the development of both new and existing disposal sites. SWT has proven track record for obtaining the necessary permits and approvals for various types of solid waste management facilities.
