The Family Service Counselor serves families by providing exemplary personalized service and plays an essential role in generating revenue for the cemetery as well as acting as the primary contact for families. Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This position delivers excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants in the Y and on the phone, contributing to member retention. Responds to member and guest needs, promotes memberships and programs, and maintains cleanliness and organization of the lobby area. Conducts interviews and/or tours responsive to the needs of prospective members. Responsible for membership sales, renewals, and prospect follow up as directed. Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and the YMCA. This position is responsible for interacting with other departments of the YMCA to ensure member satisfaction.
