Work with the Service Dispatch group and Shop Foreman to respond to service calls. Communicate with the customer contact and their staff to provide their forklift and material handling needs. Responsible for identifying larger jobs and communicating with the customer and the office staff to handle these welding repairs. Requirements SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES Must have basic mechanical experience. Job Title: TIG Welder 1st shift 3-6 Month Contract Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements. Prepare materials for welding, including cutting metal components to the appropriate size and shape. Set up welding equipment, including gas tanks, torches, and regulators. Perform welding activities using the Tig welding process. Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain welding equipment and troubleshoot any malfunctions. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when welding. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in Tig welding techniques. Experience in Tig welding of 2-3 years. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Understanding of welding safety practices and procedures. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr
