Tidewater Staffing Solutions is assisting our Medina headquartered Manufacturing client with the search for a Cost/Staff Accountant. The starting compensation range for this role is $65,000 to $90,000 depending on background and experience of the candidate. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: •Assist with the production of the monthly financial statements. •Support costing and inventory management processes at the manufacturing facilities. •Perform cost rolls for new and existing products. •Review material variances. •Participate in the annual physical inventory. •Prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations. •Prepare budget to actual variance analyses. •Review Power BI reporting daily to anticipate changes in expenses and revenues. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: •Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. •2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience. •Solid ERP experience and good Excel skills.
