About the camp Camp Pennyroyal is a traditional overnight summer camp owned and operated by Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. Located 15 miles south of Owensboro, KY, this 180-acre camp includes an 8-acre lake, three year-round buildings, platform tents, screened cabins, and primitive camping areas. Pennyroyal is a variety of traditional camp activities including canoeing, kayaking, standup paddle boarding as well as archery and a low/ high ropes course.
