Job Description Job Summary: Under direct supervision, assist the outpatient pharmacist in the performance of a variety of functions related to the filling of outpatient prescriptions. Essential Job Duties: Assist the pharmacist in the filling of outpatient prescriptions Utilizes the PharmaServ system effectively to enter patient and prescription information Enters and maintains patient information in PharmaServ to insure accurate billing of prescriptions. Files prescriptions in accordance with state and federal laws. Demonstrates a high degree of knowledge and expertise of the prescription benefit program for GSH employees. Works collaboratively with the inventory technicians to maintain proper inventory levels in the Outpatient Pharmacy Demonstrates knowledge of the OTC inventory and assist employee in product selection.
