REQUIRED SKILLS: Must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, be able to relate well to children, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with Montessori philosophy. Must be at least 18 years old and meet the requirements of the licensing agencies and/or accreditation organizations. Education: High School degree along with some entry level course work in Early Childhood Education (preference of associates or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development) First aid/CPR training. 2-3+ years of previous work in a professional setting working with children in early childhood (6 and under) Previous work assisting and working alongside other educators collaboratively Active or currently working towards one of the following accredited Montessori certifications: AMI (Association Montessori Internationale), AMS (American Montessori Society), or MACTE (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education) PHYSICAL REQU
